Annapurna Base Camp

On arrival at Kathmandu International Airport via respective airlines, you will be received by our staff or guide with a warm welcome, and then you will be transferred to a hotel in the hub of the city.

We start our journey by road, heading westward from Kathmandu to the beautiful lakeside city of Pokhara. The scenic drive passes through lush green hills, rivers, and beautiful landscape. Upon arrival in Pokhara, you'll be transferred to your hotel where you can relax and explore the vibrant lakeside area.

The day begins with a drive from Pokhara to Samrong from Harichowk by jeep, which takes approximately 3.5 hours. From Samrong, the trek begins through lush forests, terraced fields, and traditional villages, reaching Upper Sinuwa after approximately 4-5 hours of trekking. The trail offers scenic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Today The trail is more uphill and downhill enjoying view of Mt. Machhapuchhare(6993m), Mt. Annapurna south(7219m) toward upper Sinuwa.

The trek from Upper Sinuwa to Deurali involves walking through dense forests of rhododendron and bamboo, crossing suspension bridges over roaring rivers, and ascending stone steps. The trail gradually climbs, offering spectacular views of snow-capped peaks and cascading waterfalls. Deurali, situated at a higher altitude, provides a serene ambiance amidst the mountains. Talking about trail it is pretty easy than yesterday.

Today's trek is relatively short but involves a significant gain in altitude as you approach Annapurna Base Camp (ABC). The trail passes through alpine meadows and glacial moraines, with stunning views of the Annapurna massif. Reaching ABC, you'll be surrounded by towering peaks and panoramic vistas of the Himalayas, making this a truly memorable experience.

Early morning after enjoying beautiful sunrise towering peaks you will descent from ABC to Himalayan involves retracing your steps through the alpine terrain, passing through Deurali and continuing down towards Himalayan. The trek offers different perspectives of the landscape you saw on the way up, with opportunities to spot local wildlife and enjoy the tranquil mountain environment.

Today's trek takes you from Himalayan back to Chhomrong, a charming Gurung village. The trail includes both ascents and descents, crossing lush forests and terraced fields. Chhomrong is known for its picturesque setting and traditional hospitality, offering trekkers a comfortable place to rest.

The trek from Chhomrong to Ghandruk involves descending through forests and small villages, with occasional steep sections. Ghandruk is one of the largest and most beautiful Gurung villages in the Annapurna region, offering cultural insights and spectacular views of the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) mountains.

Early in the morning, after exploring the traditional village of Ghandruk and enjoying the stunning mountain views, you'll drive back to Pokhara. This drive takes approximately 3 hours, following a scenic route through the hills. Upon arrival in Pokhara, you'll have the rest of the day to relax and explore the lakeside area again.

After a restful night in Pokhara, you will return to Kathmandu by tourist bus, driving for approximately 6-7 hours. Enjoy the scenic landscapes along the way, and upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel for the night.
